I've been wondering if K&N will make an AirCharger for the G. I had one on a previous vehicle and thought it was a good product. They have been in the business for a long time.

I think it's the cheapest and best way to improve the intake system on the G ! Drop INS will probably do just as good as a Sri system withought loss of torque.

Eliminate intake upgrade and get HFC or RTP and a guaranteed power adder! I hat being uncertain wether or not my 300$ intakes added or lost power

I agree with Danny, in fact his post with Dyno numbers convinced me to get the Injen CAI and I love it to this day.

I haven't noticed any drop off but to be fair, if for some reason there is "performance deterioration" and it happened little by little over time, it would be hard to catch.

The price difference from Maxima intakes may take some time to get used to. But it is a much different car, more expensive, better performance, more luxurious. The 2 cars are in completely difference classes. Not to mention you're getting dual (2) intakes, as opposed to 1. I think CAI is the way to go if you don't mind a longer install. You'd avoid heat soak with CAIs. And the other CAI choice is obviously Stillen. I don't have first hand experience but a local friend of mine reported scary lean AF ratios when he dynoed his Stillens. I don't have any results to prove it, it was from his first hand experience.

Check with Lou at Amplified Motorsports for current pricing on the Injens. I'm not sure if it's still $500. Don't forget to mention that you're from the forum and have read my post!

Good luck!

I was also convinced and I also went with the Injen CAI. THANKS DANNY! I immediately felt the different after I got them installed at ampd.

imo, you are spending money on the sound and looks. Performance will be little, if any...and in some cases, negative. A full exhaust would probably be better or hfcs. Ive gone through two intakes now and im back to stock and very happy. I believe I felt loss in low end as well...
