I know you guys hate them but I want to have some sort of audio system put in the car as well as more power... I
that is one place i have yet to volunteer for. i volunteered for iraq twice. so afghanistan maybe a better bet for extra cash

Remember how many vq35 people dislike S/C.
I know people who used to have S/C and have upgraded to TT for more power lol.
That goes for pretty much every car...

Once you boost, you just want more. Its addicting.

I should add, I don't personally know a single person who walked out of GTM with a 10k bill, but know plenty with bills over 15k, the majority being well over 20k.

Over 20k! Get a 335i and put 10k into that and it will still beat a G37.

I can get a 87 Grand National for 4k, spend 5k on it and destroy both.

A stock Grand National with a TE61 turbo, FMIC and slicks will run 10s.

Only reason G35's upgraded to Turbo's was because their kits were weak sauce lol Some went all the way to stage 4 with the G35s before they could break the 400whp mark (assuming they did).. but again, that was their intention I believe

The beauty of a high compression engine like ours is that it loves boost! Give it 10 psi and you're at around 500whp! And that's just GTM's stage 1! That's just more than you'll ever need for a street G37 IMO otherwise it'll just be a waste of tires to go for higher numbers.

As long as you don't need to take a turn or if the race goes further than 1/4 mile.

I would do a TT if you have the money there is more room to expand if you wish to down the road. The SC will be great at first but boost is addicting and so is the need for more power. You won't regret a TT kit however you may regret the SC kit on the other hand maybe you will be one of the few that is satisfied with the new found power most people find that after a year or two the rush you got from your car wears off and you will start to crave more power. i have driven and owned several SC cars and several turbo cars. Its hard to beat the torque and room to grow the TT will give you.
