Ignition Question

I think I know the answer already but just in case I missed something. Seems foolish to me that if you need to turn the ACC on without starting the car, you need to cycle past ON to get to OFF. Is there a shortcut to go from ACC to OFF, bypassing ON (sounds like a board game)?

A double click will get you from ACC to OFF.

A double click while the engine is running and in park/neutral will get you to ACC with the engine off.

cool ...... is that a true bypass or just a quick cycle past ON? Sorry, not near the car for a few days to test myself.

I just checked it, you actually cant go from ACC of OFF w/o passing ON, you can however go from engine in idle to ACC with a double click, but to turn off from there, you would have to cycle through.

If I leave the clutch out and press the ignition button I get ACC.
