gen3 intake + cobb = worth it

I currently have the HKS exhaust and Eibach springs. I'm thinking about adding the Stillen Gen 3 intake and Cobb Accessport. My question is this...is it worth the money? What kind of gains should I expect to see(feel)?

Intake = $499 (+$200ish install)
Cobb AP = $600
TOTAL = $1300

IMO, i'd say no its not. Unless you plan on getting HFC's and maybe even headers i'd hold off on it. Are you seriously paying 200 bucks for someone to install the gen 3's? That seems a little steep. If you've got the patience, a little knowledge of cars, and a drimmel you could do it yourself.

From what I've read in these forums, the cobb isn't worth it unless you get a custom tune, so that's $600 + the cost of that.

HFCs are probably best bang for the buck mod for our cars, plus I assume it's legal in VA vs. here in CA.

Cobb isn't worth it if you're aiming just for gains.

I'd get the intakes, find someone local to help you with the install

Then get a custom tune (Technosquare?) [Or wait till you're done with the breathing mods first]

Forget the intakes and get hfc or good exhaust . I had great gains with my AP and custom tunes.

You're going to get a bunch of various answers. I would just search around and look over reviews of what people thought of their accessport (custom tune would be needed).

Ive been thinking about getting a COBB also. Ive got Gen 3 but I also have MXP exhaust. A local shop said they were thinking about getting the pro software so I may end up getting it so they can use the pro software on it also.
