If you have lots of time, extensions, cuss words, and extra skin you don't need to pull the engine.... If you want to avoid the above, and it is possible, pull it.
Most shops that have the ability (hoist, stands, lifts) will do it because it will save time in the long run, and you can really get to all the parts.

With just the turbo install, usualy takes about 32-35 hours to install the kit. But I also got alot of other mods such as the clutch, flywheel, external waistegates ( kit comes with internal), boost controller, coilovers, swaybars, strutbar/bracing, Greddy turbo racing exhaust.
Its a pretty straight through setup. and all together should take 3-4 weeks tops. I had issues getting the kit since GTM was in the middle of moving location ( which i place no blame on sharif nor sam) Sam has been a VERY big help with the decision making on this particular kit.
With that being said my car should be getting wrapped up here in the next two weeks givin some hicups and final test drives and everything. CANT WAIT!!!!DOMO ** Also a good friend of mine who has his g37 sedan should be getting his wrapped up very soon. I herd GTM got some good numbers with their 370z
