Quick question about Cobb Accessport?

Can I buy any Accessport and then upload the maps off their website? Or does it have to be any Accessport made for the g37?

Has to be specific Accessport, even if you get a G35 one or one for an AT and you have an MT it won't work..

But I can down load 2008 g37s MT maps off the website. (http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/.../G-Series.html) I thought ordering the accessport for the g37 just made it more easy because it had the maps already preloaded on them. Then figured if I bought a accessport then down loaded the right maps to it id be fine. Unless I'm not understanding it right. lol

Well, all I know is people have received Cobb APs from different version G's than their exact car and it didn't work...maybe there's a work-around? But, I don't think you can buy a AP from a Mazda 3 or WRX and have it work w/ a G...

There are 2 models, and you need one from a HR engine. This is the 07+ G sedan, 07+ 350Z, 370Z, or G37. Ones from the earlier "DE's" will not work, or at least they have a different part number.

Why are there no map notes for stage 2+??

Stage 1 and stage 2 have detailed notes you can download, I wish they offered the same thing for the 2+ map.

C'mon Cobb!!
