So it is starting to grind when going into 6th gear now. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it the synchro going bad? Probably will take it to the dealer soon to have it looked at, but just want to see if it happened to anyone else yet . . .

 

How many miles do you have?

 

I'm still good at 40K+. Sounds like a synchro. Take it in before it gets worse.

Had a my 5th grinding on me at 16-18000 km's. Got a brand new tranny put in under warranty.

 

mines grinded going into 6th since almost the 1st day I got it. Took it in and told them about it at my 1st oil change. I was told there has to be more wrong with my trans before they would do anything. Well, now my ToB is makin some hellacious noise, figure that should be enough for them to fix it now huh?

 

Yeah man just take it in.

I just took mine in for the 6th gear grind and they're dropping in a new transmission.
