oil change and filter indicator light

Anyone know how to turn the oil and fliter change indicator off? I just changed the oil for the first time. The light comes on at 3750 miles. Infiniti was no help. Thanks

play with your instrument control... it's under some settings where they set the interval... just reset it

Do you take yours to the dealership? The closest dealer to where I live is over an hour away.

It is bothersome to constantly see a warning light on. I talked my dealership where I bought the car. They told me to call Infiniti. Infiniti told me the dealership had to reset it. Basically, they are trying to force you to have to take the car to them for service.

uhh play wit the dash, infront of the steering wheel and stuff.. go to like maintenance and reset ur oil and oil filter settings to bring it to 0 again so it starts counting down on how many more miles u need to service and wen u hit 3750, it will bug u again to do it :-D

had to do my friends.. played around and it finally shut up lmao

This information is in your owners manual. Are you having problems with the indicator in the instrument cluster or on the Nav screen? Both are pretty easy to figure out, but if you can't, the manual shows you how to reset both of them.

If your dealership couldn't/wouldn't show you this, use another dealership because they're incompetent.

That is rude for a dealership to not show you how to reset it but it is in your owners manual. You have to reset the ones on the dash and the navigation separately.
