Help Clutch Pedal Noise
Ive been hearing some weird noises coming from my clutch pedal lately. Lets see, as im releasing the clutch and it engages, its fine until that part, but I hear this weird noise from the pedal as if the spring behind is making some odd noises after the clutch has engaged and im letting go of the clutch peddle. I know thats a terrible depiction but it just doesn't seem right..and its on and off. Anyone else come across with problem?
i think i might have it, does it sound kind of like when you tug on the frame of a liscense plate a nd then let it go, thats what it sounds to me, its also on and off, i tried to get it service but they couldnt replicate it.
Your description is a little different than what most have. I had a very squeaky clutch pedal. Took it in the first time and they lubed it up and it stopped for a few weeks. Second time I took it back they replaced the entire pedal. Now makes no noise at all.
its not a shrill squeak but what you describe is pretty much what I have..
Had that on mine also. Took the whole spring assembly off and noticed an inner sleeve that was grinding on the rod. I just left the spring assembly off. I like the feel of the clutch pedal a lot more now.
