I was reading a thread and in there it said that if you dont use the Ester oil from the dealer ship that it voids warranty. That it wasnt in the owners manual but it was in the dealer/techs manual.

Can anyone confirm any of this? Doesnt really make sense but if Nissan can put luanch control and void your warranty if you use it then it makes sense kinda.

 

false. the only time it is required to use the oem ester oil is if you experience vvel knock.
