My mistake was deciding to get my G and learning to drive manual after. I had very little experiences in the past driving stick cars like the TC and RSX but this car is extremely different and compared to those very hard too.
But i got everything down now except when it comes to taking off fast
i tried to take on my cuzins 335i auto and was left behind 2 cars
DRIVING STICK IS FANTASTIC...YOU WILL LOVE IT OR HATE IT...I live in queens also...so driving alot around here is all clutch and gas but no matter its great..the sound and the feel...also its you controlling the engine...you'll learn and you'll love it.. get it..plus your girl wont be able to drive it!!!!! i actually drove a a/t the other day and had to look around to figure what to do...was weird....love my stick...get it!!!!now!!
God I hate starting from uphill I still have to kinda get use to the clutch and the gear boxes.
Try to go into a no traffic neighborhood that has a hill and keep practicing on that hill.. that's what I did then I got use to it after 2-3 days practicing on that hill. I would start off on the kill go up to the top then let the car roll down itself then repeat the process until I felt like I got the hang of it... then after that I would drive like I was in a movie shoot for fast and the furious and go 65+ in a 40 mph road outside my neighborhood lol. That road is very, very, very hard not to speed on.. so much twisties, turns and straightaways.

Try not to shift over 5k rpms for the break-in process until 1,000 miles.

can anyone help me lol
Practice is the only thing that will help you. Go to a deserted road or to the track. Or just try it at every stop light that you come to. Just make sure there are no cops around or they will ticket you for "exhibition of acceleration". You cant do that in a heavy traffic area either.
