Grounding kit worth it? users chime in :)

hey,

i was thinking of purchasing grounding kits, but are they really worth it? I have Automatic and i heard they help shifting better? anyone with AT and have the grounding kit please chime in

edit: which one is better, 4awg or 8awg?

are you planning on adding aftermarket subs or anything? if so, do it, it's worth it, blackbetty makes a great grounding kit... and yes supposedly 5AT users have reported faster throttle and shifting responses...

just get one... its too cheap to even worry if its worth it or not...

Hehe, I made my own ground wire from System wires, I did a 4 gauge from the battery ground to the passenger shock tower, and from there I used 8 gauge to the engine, and did about the same for the drivers side. Dunno if it did any good or not, but hey, I spend $8 all together, so why not? Not gonna hurt anything, but there are posting of ppl with hp gains with grounding kits here on the forums.

thanks for the info im planning to get just bass in the future, but these wires will help me in the slow upshifts in AT.

I think it's very worth it for automatics, even without any aftermarket audio. You can always make the stock grounding better, there's obvious room for improvement from what people have noticed in shifting.

Very low cost mod too.
