I'm not sure exactly, but it would be VERY expensive. You would have to replace the entire tranny; sticks and autos work entirely differently. You would probably be better off selling and buying a stick.

You would need to change ALOT, the transmission, the pedals, the ECU would need to be changed, the E-brake would need to be moved, the dash would need to be changed so it dsnt read out P-R-N-D.

There was a company doing this for the G35/350z's, but it costs 8,000$, so I can only imagine what it would cost for this car.

It would be cheaper to trade the car in and buy a 6MT.

+1. That way there will be less possibility for any problems to occur because of the swap.

easy. drive your car to infiniti, sell it to them, use the $ to buy a manual, subtract the difference and thats your cost.

Trade in's your best bet, but why trade in for another G, go for a vette or 370Z if you really want to make working the left leg worth it.

Unless you can find a donor car and just do a part for part swap, selling all the automatic parts, and anything else that is salvagable on the donor...

I don't see you coming out ahead of trading in on this one.

not to mention the donor would have to have the same options packages as you so the ecu's are the same.

Yes you can do this but is it the best option? NO! Your best bet is to trade out or have a donor car because the parts might be expensive.........but do not listen to what anybody has to say just do your research first then act.

A friend of mine did the same when he converted his 02 maxima from auto to stick.

I agree you might only take a smaller hit on selling the Auto privately and just buy a used 6MT.
