UpRev engine management

It's possible I missed information on this, but is anyone aware if the UpRev products work on our cars and if not has anyone talked to them to see if they were looking into our cars?

Here is a link to their site and products:

Send them a PM. They posted here extensively on the Blitz Throttle Controller thread and als the one about pulleys.

I'd think if anything for the G37 was finalized they might want to post bout it here.

Not yet, although they are pretty close on the HR.

The VHR with VVEL will be really exciting... and thus take a bit longer for the UpRev guys to figure out...

They said they were going to be done with this a couple weeks ago. Looks like they are going the Cobb route and lying about releases.

Without some inside knowledge, I wouldn't say they lied, but perhaps they were "optimistic" with a release date, or more likely it's a case of "Sh*t Happens" that is causing unexpected delays.

Just being sarcastic toward them since they did the same with the whole Cobb release date. It is in one of the threads. Hopefully they get their system out soon for everyone. I am seriously looking at going the UpRev route though. I still need to do some investigating into some shady stuff that has been going on but if things turn out to be true and a certain part is responsible then that will help my decision immensely

So the cobb accessport i know quite a bit about as they also had this for my previous car but the UpRev is fairly new to me. I can imagine they both work almost the same..no?
Can someone explain a little more in depth how the UpRev Engine Management works as apposed to cobb accessport?
Im thinkng of getting the accessport since i have a shop close by that can get it for me.

Let me know your opinions of both...which one do your prefer and why?

from what I remember about he uprev, it reflashes the ecu just like the AP but it is computer based. It's software for your laptop that you can use to reflash the ecu using a cable from your laptop to the OBDII port.

not 100% though

Their management system was suppose to be out a month or two ago but I haven't seen anything on their site yet. Not sure what happened.

Hi everyone,

We are also an UpRev Pro Tuner, and have full access to the array of UpRev reflashing tools. Althought reflashes are only available for the VQ35DE, we'll soon have reflash capability for the VQ35HR and the VQ37VVEL.

Developing custom reflashing capability takes an incerdible about of research and development, so give credit to Cobb and UpRev, as the only two companies I know of, that are doing this on a mass scale.

The last I have been told, we are looking at about 6-8 weeks before reflashign will be available on the G37.
