Reflash questions

Does anyone know how exactly is the reflash done? I know that it's re-programming of the ECU but in what language? And how does one connect to the ECU, same connection as Magden?

Any kind of info is appreciated.

I don't know the language the ECU uses but the connection is with the OBD II port, which is where the Magden plugs in.

Is OBO II port readily available in the car? Sorry but I'm not that familiar with OBO II. I'm guessing there's special reflash hardware that plug to plugged into on the other end to read the ECU programming?

The OBD II port is under the drivers console by they brake. I know the Cobb AP uses this port to reflash the ECU. I don't know if Technosquare uses this port or not but email them for more info if you want.

Does anyone know how Cobb or Technosquare is able to get around the write protection on the ECU, assuming there is one?
