The GTR guys are complaining about the BS warranty issues, and glitchy software and hardware.

For instance, if you push the VDC button, your warranty is "suspended" until the Nissan dealer checks the car, and resets it. It's not a tuner friendly car at all, and when driven hard, your warranty is out the window....even if you havent modified the car!

I'd give it a year or two...let the lawsuits settle out. Until then, the G37 TT is a bargain..LOL.

UNV, I think that mighta been alittle below the belt. We all know that the all the 17 year olds who are boosted work hard at the local fast food joint and save up for it!!

"A little bit more" is an understatement at best. Nissan just increased the MSRP of the GTR by 10%. I believe the new base price is just under $77 thousand. Add in the ridiculous mark ups that 95% of the dealers are getting, plus tax, and the GTR is close to the $100,000 mark. Check out the "buy it now" prices on ebay.

Boosting the G and getting 500 rwhp for an additional $13,000 to $18,000 is a pretty good alternative. Just my 2 cents.

you also to take into consideration that you should do suspension, wheel, tire upgrade as well though so you will end up "investing" more than that

I don't think comparing a supercar to a boosted G37 is really a fair compairson. The gtr will smoke the G37 all day boosted or not. You might be able to get a faster straight line out of it 1 day but on a track I doubt it.

Too hard to hook up that much power on our stock drivetrain with anything other than drag radials.

There are several late model FI G's out there now, but I don't think there are track times yet for a TT on an HR or VHR motor.

In contrast, the GTR manages mid to high 11's in street trim with it's AWD.

Terry is it safe to say that you would at least HANG with a GTR? Since I heard you took out 911 Turbo already.... Ahem... On the track of course...
