thanks terry... that's exactly what mike told me too... but I thought he mentioned the revs being able to be brought up higher

I miye be wrong tho cuz that was rite after he took me for a ride in his S2K CR... mite've been a lil demented after the ride... that CR is friggen nuts! heheh...

WoW... this thread is flirtin with being WACK... If you are soo worried about launchin your G that bad... go trade it for a 6MT....

Otherwise.... just slam on the gas and be satified cause you will jack your tranny/drivetrain the very FIRST time you do this neutral drop ...

I might be wrong but I believe the GT-R only comes with one transmission option. And it is NOT "automatic". It may shift itself but we are talking about a different type of transmission here.

the launch mentioned doesn't work. We don't have some special launch control. I tried all methods. My best results were in DS mode, holding break and launching from about 1500 to 2k.

I haven't tried it, but whoever plans to do so better read it very carefully!

The procedure I found IS NOT launch control. It seems to be a method to temporarily increase line pressure on the brakes which just allows you to rev higher during brake torque.
