Engine Humming?

I've noticed my car has the dreaded humming noise coming from the engine especially in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear, whenever I let off or shift. Is there a fix for this or is this doing any kind of harm?

Thank you...
No it's not from the popchargers I know a good bit about cars just never owned a Nissan / Infiniti VQ before. It's without a doubt from the engine.

I don't have an MT but sounds like your drowning the gears, sometimes I shift to 5th and then floor it in 5th and I get that same droning sound. Try shifting a bit later say around 3k instead of 2200 (or wherever). Only sound I can relate too so hope it helps. Not the JWTs they have a very distinctive sound @ WOT.

Thanks for the input, I normally shift between 3 and 4k and it does it anywhere between there and below. I don't want to shift at 6k everytime I change gears ya know?

Yeah the JWTs sound great at WOT.
