Tranmission Noise at Idle (video)
I believe we may have covered this sound before but I wanted to capture it on video and make certain this is something everyone else is experiencing with their cars as well.
The sound is only present when I do not have the clutch pedal pushed down. You can hear the sound at about 29 seconds when I release the clutch pedal. Then I press the clutch pedal in at about 42 seconds (sound goes away) and then release again at 49 seconds.
If everyone else is hearing the same thing on their G than I will not worry any longer.

The sound that you hear could be coming from the input shaft bearing on the main shaft and also could be from the counter shaft bearing both in the transmission. If the noise is heard when the clutch pedal is engaged, then I would expect the release bearing to be making noise. But if the noise is only heard with the clutch pedal released then the input shaft bearing is your problem. They would just replace the whole transmission assy. since you still have warranty. Good luck to you .

. If everyone else is hearing it on theirs than (hopefully) there's nothing to worry about.
