This might be a very stupid question but...
Is it normal that our G37s (5AT) rev higher than other cars in our catergory? When I'm driving on the highway at 70mph, I'm sitting at 3000rpm. I was driving my friend's 2007 BMW 335i, and he was sitting at 2000rpm at 70mph. Just to throw another car in there, my Acura 3.2 TL sits at 2400rpm at 70mph.
Any thoughts?

The redline on the 335i is 7k i believe, i dont know about the TL though. The 5AT is a little bit different than the 6mt version too. I am sitting at 3k rpm at 75mph.
Before in my g35 it was 3k rpm at 80. Not really a big deal though.
You should go sit in a tC, those are at like 4200 at 75...

Ok...sounds like I'm not the only one seeing this. Thought I might have a problem with my engine.
As for the 335i, my friend just got it last week. We will probably do some racing on some back roads this weekend. Was hoping I would have gotten my Pop Chargers before we hit it off but it probably wouldn't make a difference in the results
