A list of diffrent noises
A list of diffrent noises
I don’t know if it’s just me but if I spend over $40,000 on my car I want it to be as quiet as possible well I have a list of different noises that don’t seem to go away…
1. I think a lot of people have this the flag pole noise in the rear axle
2. Exhaust has a tin can noise got it fixed once but happened again
3. This one seems like I’m the only one that has the noise when I let go of the clutch in neutral, the clutch sounds like a diesel engine
If anyone else has anything to add to the list feel free

Infiniti of Scottsdale is replacing my clutch pedal under warranty (>1000 miles!) because it squeeks something fierce when moved, both engaging and disengaging. The service advisor said they tried to lubricate it (as I requested) but it seems a bushing is faulty, so it won't matter.
I haven't noticed any grinding in any gear. Usually that's from people getting lazy with the clutch pedal and not putting it all the way down. I do that from time to time in the Corrado; it has a high engagement point and lulls me into thinking "I can do this without a full pedal press!"

I haven't heard the chirp from the rear axle on mine yet.
I get kind of a tin can sound or resonation from the exhaust and from what sounds like the manifold area during early starts. I had the sxhaust replaced becasue of te "sawing metal" sound. Although it is not as bad as it was it is still something that I don't particularly like. My G35 C sounded sweet on cold start ups.
When the car is hot, the exhaust manifold pops and ticks.
Starting to get some brake noise when backing up slowly on cold days (but this is a commmon issue on Nissans/ Infinitis).

no worries i feel u i been to the dealership three times in the first 3 weeks i got the car. but hey, i drove the shiet outta their G35 sedan and even brought it to vegas and stuff haha so.. it was cool.
the dealership told me that there is going to be a new muffler coming out for our car because of the noise it makes they told me there is a weld on a honey comb in the mufflers that keeps on breaking but he said they wont have it out for another 3 to 6 months
