Bolt-on Turbo Kit, Supercharger, and OEM
Let's say the only thing I wanted to do was add a bolt-on turbo kit to my G37; or even a supercharger. Would anything else need to be upgraded to support it or would the OEM parts that are in the car now be able to handle it? The car wouldn't be driven hard or raced, just for weekend driving and show/showing off that you have something unique under the hood.

keep the boost low ( 5 to 8 psi max ) and I dont see too big of a prob.

^^+1. If you plan to keep all the other components stock, 8 psi is the most boost you can run without damaging the engine. Most importantly, make sure you get a really good tune. I've known a few people who have installed either a sc or tt and have blown the motor after a few thousand miles due to a bad tune.
And if you're only planning to use it rof weekends or show, I recommend the supercharger. It's better to have a daily driver imo, and you can get it polished nicely for show.

Aps Twin Turbo
If a Bi-Turbo like the one that I have on my 350Z comes out, that will be the perfect solution for people that would like to leave the engine STOCK. I have many miles on my Z and I never had a single problem with it. Do not go over 8 PSI/395WHP and conservative tune you will have a safe car that will give you many many many!!! miles of happiness . I can not wait for APS to release a KIT for the G37, the problem is that they do not have a G37 in Australia, so looks like this might take a year before we see something from APS.
The following is a pic of my TT 350Z.

When you say to get the car "tuned"; are you talking about tuning through the ECU?
It's great to see someone has added a turbo to a stock engine, that it's been done before, and has given many happy miles.

Or you can get a ECU reflash but that only good for what you have at the time if you add more after you have to resend it out to update.

A reflash would work also, but like izzo said, if you add other parts which you most likely will later on down the road if you wanna get the most out of your FI system, you would have to get another reflash. I would just get a piggy back ECU. Plus you would be able to get a better tune with a piggy back ECU.
