4 VDC to OFF
3 Gear to DS
2 Left Shfter to 1 manual (optional)
1 Floor it
0 Blast off.
Actually you probably don't even need to put iit in DS, I'm finding the rev shift point depends on how your accelerate. Light acceleration it shifts at just below 4K, heavy and it's just above 7.
I just finished watching a test drive of the Bugatti veyron. I was surprised to see the fastest car in the world is an automatic and it's paddle shifter's aren't stationary like the G's which to me is a superior design. Kind of hillarious when you consider that's a 1.5M car. Another tidbit is that Bugatti looses money on everyone they sell. They must make it up in maintenance. It also has an dual mode transmission, casual driving and sport. It's really too bad the G didn't come with a 6 spd automatic, that would have been righteous.

TC off....DS mode....power brake and hold the rpms at 900-1,000...Let of and floor it.Ive gotten the best results at this rpm...anything higher and its all smoke...anything lower and it isnt enough.
Youll notice it does spin a little but as it catches it does not lose rpms, rather goes along and shifts into second gear...It is possible that the car will chirp from 1st to 2nd, as mine does whenever i launch it.

even more newbie question. How should i launch my 6mt without damaging anything. im not a racer or anything but my friends tell me not to try because it can damage my car if I dont do it right.

Put it into first gear while holding down the clutch. Rev it up to about 2k to 2.5 then when the light turns green you floor the gas while simutanously releasing your clutch. But when you release your clutch kind of feather it out.
Then hit redline and shift to 2 gear and so on.
If your car cant stay in one spot pull the ebrake up a couple clicks before u launch it

Power braking is not a good idea for the G. There is too much pressure/ heat build up in the tranny. You will actually not accelerate as fast as if you just slam the gas. The torque converter is calibrated to a high stall setting. But the more you power brake the lower stall point the car will take off from because the pressure will cause it to engage more quickly (lower RPM). And of coure we all know that heat is the enemy to power/ acceleration.
Edmunds test results confirm this. They got their best test results on the auto by just slamming the pedal.

Acceleration Comments: Best results were from VSC off and simply whacking the gas pedal to the floor. Just a little spin and it gets off the line with authority. Upshifts are remarkably quick and even a little jarring in Sport Drive mode. In manual mode, there's a little stumble between 1st and 2nd.
Handling Comments: Skid pad: Nicely balanced right up until the front tires heat up and it begins to understeer moderately. Slalom: I like how well it responds to throttle input while transitioning. The ability to rotate confidently and repeatedly is a plus, but again the front tires become the limiting factor, understeering at the last cone with barely enough power to slip the rear.
Braking Comments: The pedal is a little soft initially, but ultimately these are powerful and effective brakes. Some brake dive, but not excessively so.
