I dont know if it will close or not. I have not seen a pic with the hood closed. But the car does have an oem hood on it. but the hood is open

i doubt the hood closes...usually eaton/roots type blowers on the VQ have required hood chnages as it sits too high on the plenum.
i'm waiting for vortech's centrifugal....

stock hood with fire blanket removed I have a feeling it closes with that removed because i wouldnt see them removing it for no reason what so ever....

from that angle its look a lil better... does the fire blanket keep the heat from getting to the hood and messin up the paint?
