Clutch Click

When I depress the clutch, I feel and hear a click in the pedal and possibly deeper. I don't think I've heard the rear end chirp everyone is talkin about, but I have this click in the clutch. I depress it and go about 3/4 and it clicks, and as I let it back it clicks, at the same exact point. Anyone else get this? I took it to the dealer and told them to check it out and they said its nothing. I think they are full of ****. The clutch should not be clicking unless its to tell me something...

Sorry Greg but I am to tired to search for the thread with this issue. If I remember correctly the issue is the metal "piston" behind the clutch petal. Just lube up that metal piece and it should go away. I don't remember which members where having this issue. Hope this helps.

I have the exact same problem. I'm not sure exactly what it is either and I've tried using white lithium grease to lube the clutch components up but still that "clicking" exists...

Anyone else on here get that click?

My clutch also clicks (can hear/feel it), when depressed nearly all the way and then at the same point coming back up. It also creaks/groans. I had it serviced once already, which got rid of the creaking but didn't eliminate the clicking, just reduced it to the point that I was left trying to decide if I wanted to take it back to the dealer to make them get rid of it completely.

It's been about two weeks since the clutch was serviced and both the clicking and the creaking are back to the point where they were before being serviced and I've scheduled another appointment for next week. The service staff didn't mention anything about the clutch click being normal and they did manage to reduce it significantly so I'm not sure I'd agree that it's normal, though I suppose that could depend on how you (or rather the dealer) define normal. In my case, the noise and feel of both the clicking and creaking are very noticeable and distracting. The sound from both can clearly be heard by anyone sitting in the car unless the radio volume is cranked fairly high.

Hopefully my dealer won't throw up their hands and also say that this is normal; I'd hate to think that our cars were designed/built to have this kind of clutch behavior be considered normal.

No click here either but i remember the thread where it was talked about. The guy basically stuck his head in the footwell and pushed the clutch in and looked where the noise was coming from. Then just oiled that part and it was gone.

That's weird. I have the same problem, but with my brake pedal and not my clutch.
