i bet this guy doesnt have g37 and if he does he sells drugs or some $hit..he seems really stupid and uneducated. ive never came across someone with a 42k car that didnt know how to use sport-tronic technology shifters and thought he would "blow his engine" doing so.

I am writing this due to the crap that most people have put on this thread. Not sure if most of you realize this but forums are normally used to discuss a topic or topics and usually used to collaborate on those topic(s). It has always been my impression that myg37.com was a forum for G37 owners, enthusiast, and soon to be buyers to go to ask questions, provide feedback on the G, and give feedback on their experiences. At no time did I think this site was for badgering and making fun of individuals lack of knowledge on the G37/Skyline product or in cars or driving. As you can see from the following posts, this seems to be the case:

I also find it interesting that most people don't seem to read the rules for the forum. Especially rule #9:

For the new forum members up above I can see this being broken because like most people they probably didn't read the rules before post to this forum. The question then would be, does that make these individuals "stupid" because they can't read simple rules for a forum before posting? I guess if Krazy J is "stupid" for buying a car that he doesn't know how to drive with the paddle shifters then I would say that might make certain individuals that posted in this thread "stupid." As far as the members that have more than 100 posts, Raheel & DetroitG37Joe, I would think they would know the rules and might actually help out someone with a question. Thanks to people like ulca bruin and KAHBOOM this thread actually got an answer.

To shed some light on these ignorant fools that think younger people cannot own one of these cars without "selling drugs" or doing something illegal on the side, get your head out your backside. I know of two cases of young people having enough money for this car without doing illegal activities. I worked as a cable installer making $16 bucks an hour along with this kid who was 18 about 5 years ago. This kids name was Chad and he had over $40,000 dollars in his saving account at 18. The reason he had this money was not because he inherited it or anything like that. He had this money because since he started working back when he was 15 he deposited most of his paycheck into his savings and didn't touch it. He didn't buy electronics, cds, movies, ect like the rest of us. He saved his money and was good at doing it. Also my best friend who was 19 years of age was making $120,000 a year working at Radio Shack. He was in the top 5 in the nation for sales for Radio Shack and was very good at it. I could never afford my G37 when I was 18 to 25 but that doesn't mean others couldn't either.

And Finally, try to remember that we all have different levels of knowledge on this car and in cars in general. That's why we are here to share this knowledge and to help each other out. Some will have more knowledge while others will have none. Having no knowledge on a subject do not make that person stupid but uninformed. He asked a question so help him out and if you don't want to then move on to the next thread. If he asked the question to BS people then so be it but if he asked the question wanting an honest answer then he should get one. I see many other post I might question as "stupid" like ones on if the G37 can play DVDs, on if this is a good finance rate, and turning XM into Sirius. The people that ask these questions are not stupid they just don't know as much as I do on these topics so they ask the question.

I am still not sure why the Admins or Mods having locked this thread yet. Maybe they are on Christmas break, sipping tea, or to busy watching videos of the GT-R. Part of the blame falls on me and others who wrote concerns seeing as we didn't notify the Mods (at least I didn't) but I guess I will need to do that now. As you have seen from my post, I might have broken rule #8 so I am willing to deal with the consequences!
