When I start and drive the car in D (5AT) the engine idles at around 700 rpm and behaves normally. But if I switch to the DS mode and drive spirited for a while and swicth back to the D mode then the transmission looses its marbles. The engine starts idling between 1000-1100 rpm, everytime a take my foot off the gas pedal rapidly the rpm drops down to around 500 like a rock and immediately shoots back up to 2000 - 3000 rpm. This wild rpm swings becomes the norm until I turn the engine off and start back again at D.

Is anyone experiencing similar behaviour?

 

yep im having the same promblem, the rpm's jerks up and down
