Underwhelming Dyno Tune?

Hey guys, I want to know what you guys this of these tuning results. I’ve tried to build my car such that I can make the most gains possible without being extremely loud and staying close to California regulations should I have to quickly revert to being within smog regulations.

2010 G37s manual with 90k miles
Mods: Stillen gen 3 CAI with Z1 race filter upgrade, z1 ported upper manifold, FI RHFC, ISR y pipe and single exit Y back (370z version for muffler), 25 row oil cooler, RPF1 wheels to reduce drivetrain loss.
Admin Tuned on Dyno, 91 pump gas, with sheet attached

Peak Power: 313.76WHP on Dynojet

I followed the single exit exhaust route due to Moncef’s advice on those making more power. He said that he thinks the HFC is holding me back on power over test pipes. But I’ve seen so many people make way more power than this with HFCs and less upgrades. Moncef also said the car is running fine, no issues that he can notice. No exhaust leaks. Regular oil changes, i recently cleaned out my throttle body.

What do you guys think?

Cool you gave the same car I do.
That graph looks really good until about 6.6 rpms. Not sure how much power you are wanting to make but some headers can give you another 10 to 15 up top. I doubt any thing else well change. As far as anything else under 6.6rpms,Looks good to me.

I was kind of assuming that I would at least reach 320WHP, considering I've seen plenty of G37s & 370zs with just a 2.5in CAI and Catback make more than 314WHP. Its not so much that I'm looking for a certain Horsepower as it is that I'm kind of confused/concerned that something may be wrong with my car or mod setup? I doubt there were any issues on Moncef's tuning end. Yeah it would be nice to install some headers. If I didn't live in California and my garage wasn't under 3 people's apartments then I totally would have done that along with an E85 setup. But still, I was hoping to make more with the parts I have installed right now.

First things first an intake and catback vq37 will not make much more than a stock car, these modifications alone will not add much. Secondly, there are a number of variables you are unable to control including weather and the dyno setup that can effect your whp outcome. Unless you have a baseline from this dyno, it is not an equal comparison to what others have done elsewhere.

Idk man I've seen plenty of CAI and Catback setups make plenty of WHP. Yeah Moncef said the conditions for the dyno were pretty good that day. Low temperature and humidity. A bolt on 350z made more power than me right before I went. Granted he was FBO, E85, and possibly an HR motor. Unfortunately I don't have a baseline. I was remote tuned before this dyno day with only a few different parts. And this Dyno was a Dynojet, which apparently is supposed to read high according to forums I've seen.

Compare what you have here to a dyno from a stock G. Like this one below, assuming that's correct. Unless bragging rights are your thing with numbers, take a look at where you on the way up the curve. You're at 250hp at 5000 rpm. That's a nice gain over stock, right? Also, your graphs looks really smooth, and I bet it feels that way, too, as you're driving it.

If you got a 20 to 25 hp gain under the curve, and your engine is running better, that's a win, IMO.

Yeah its very smooth and I'm happy about that. But ok I just looked through the more recent posts on the thread you tagged. There are cars with just CAI and Catback making more than me, and cars with the additional HFCs are at least 320WHP. Do you guys think my ISR single exit is restricting me? I didn't get it because it was cheap. I got it because Moncef recommended single exit and the Tomei would have been too loud.

I just can't sit tight knowing that my car could be running more efficiently if something is holding it back lol. Gotta keep up with my friends on the track.

How does the drag strip calculate your WHP? Do they hook something up to my car? If you're just basing WHP on time it takes to power through a gear, then you would have to take car weight and aero into consideration. That sounds too complicated.

Isn't the broad math for WHP to BHP conversion to simply divide by 0.85? If you do that, you're at 369 hp. Stock is 330 on the coupe.

Nah that doesn't sound too reliable. That wouldn't take my shifting speed or aero into consideration.
