Waist of money when you could Dump Uprev and apply Ecutek instead which controls the amount of boost via the ECU instead of using a Boost controller.

Yeah i read that ecutek can control boost which may be able to eliminate the need of another boost controller but there isn't much info on it. I sent an email to John at Visconti tuning and I'm waiting for a response. I should email seb at specialty z also. If this works then I'd get a reg afr gauge instead of the innovate boost controller and afr dual function gauge

Highly simplified you can run a momentary switch to the avc-r that when pressed will start up a predetermined (set by the user) timed boost increase. I, for example, typically run 1 bar of boost, my scramble is set to 1.3bar for 10 seconds so when i hit the button the controller allows that setting to occur. Like I said, I use it for straights when traction isn't an issue and I could use the extra push. I'm not sure (and honestly never tried) but it may also be setup for a lower setting as well, I can imagine a few auto-x situations that would be nice; but don't quote me on that.
As always: make sure your tune and engine can handle your boost. I would not recommend overboosting with unsafe fuel mixtures.
