UpRev is expensive! The tune itself is $750! That's what mine cost me. However, if your car has over 20k mileage on it, you're also gonna need new spark plugs prior to the tune. Saying that you'll want good ones, it'll run you about $1,000 altogether. It ain't cheap, so you better have all your mods ready before you finalize them with a tune. Nonetheless, worth it. I went out of state to get mine done.
$750, Gess,,

Would our warranty be voided by getting a tune with uprev?
What mods are required for the uprev tune to be worth while?
Cai, hfc, catback exhaust?

Yes if the dealer found out they would void it, you changing the fuel curve and timing. Mods bolt ons and have them all done before you go, So a one time tune. IE If I get TP's or HFC's I will have to go back for a retune. :/

^^thanks!
At what mileage does our warranty finished?
I do have cai, hfc, and catback exhaust. Wanted to get a uprev tune to hopefully gain some performance with those bolt-ons. I still have those expensive infiniti maintenance schedules to do. I wouldn't want to ruin or void warranty becos of the uprev tune either.
But it does make sense to do the uprev tune once. Its not cheap.
Does anyone here have a uprev dyno chart with bolt-ons like cai, hfc, catback exhaust? Like comparison or something vs stock.

Guys, UpRev is a tuning company, they use the Osiris Engine Management for your tune. There are 3 types of tunes, Osiris Standard tune, probably the most popular, is approximately ~$575 out the door, includes a one-time ECU reflash and up to 5 separate maps, or you can opt for the Osiris Tuner which is the more expensive ~$750 package, which includes everything that the standard tune offers plus the cables necessary to mod your tune yourself on your own. There is also a Osiris Flash Service for those that want to send in their ECUs to be reflashed.
I just had my '04 G35 tuned by UpRev last week in Austin, TX. Dynoed 270WHP with K&N CAI, MD 5/16" isothermal spacer, MD MREV2 lower collector, Berk HFCs, and Borla exhaust plus standard tune. Based on the stock '04 having an advertised 287HP (crankcase) and seeing other similar G35s dynoed around ~225WHP without bolt ons, I was very pleased with the increase in power.
I guess the only drawback would be to spend the money on the tune and not have everything you wanted installed on your car, you would have to pay another ~$575 to get it retuned.

i dont think you need to pay another 575$ for a retune. the programming is there, its just adjustments. just like the initial tune, just adjustments. I did this, then went to HFC's and had my tune tweeked for the addition.
Unless your shop is ripping you off big time

That's interesting. I may stand corrected on this, which is great news.
