Bro... read up and get educated on dynos and hp ratings... ALL Cars will see a different is "at the wheel" power... The rulle of thumb for cars if -15% for manual and -20% for Autos.... give or take a few...
I dont believe one bit that a Honda only lost 14 hp... not possible...
Show proof please...
and you say Honda TL-S... do you mean Acura or what?

Keep in mind however that we are talking about power at the wheels not the crank. Generally speaking you are going to have a 15% to 20% drivetrain loss in power. 292 is fantastic considering.
With the TL you are talking about a 5%drivetrain loss. That is virtually impossible. Either something was wrong with the dyno, the car is underrated, or they were not calculating power at the wheels.

97 octane! i cant believe us is so hot on standards for vehicles that you lose so much, yes i understand crank is 330 but to the back wheel should never lose more than 25 percent thats impossible. cat's probably take 5 percent of power away from the hp, and all the specific standards in u.s. brings power down does it not? not sure what the standards are in america. whats the sma ecar make over in europe or asia?

If it's putting down a legit 289 hp at the wheels then the crank is putting out a lot more than 303, I don't care what the thing is listed at.
Measuring hp loss in percentage is not totally correct either. After a certain amount of hp the percent loss starts to dip down (but I'm talking high high hp numbers here).

IMO dynos are just measuring tools nothing more. i put out 258hp 240tq on Dave @ Function Tuned dyno dynamics which tends to read lower than most. trey.hutcheson from driver put out almost the same numbers and hes consistently running LOW 13's while i should be in the 13's now.
