Since everyone likes to hear good news first I will do the same here. The Skyline is finished. It works, no leaks, no more body damage, everything is lovely. Additionally, the Shop the did the work on it was contacted by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. Somehow they caught wind that a legal R33 GTR V-Spec was there. They want to do a right up on why the Skyline is the ultimate track car when tuned correctly. The shop called me and asked if I wanted to let this be done. As we can all imagine, the answer was yes and they will be taking a few laps in the car around a track in Florida (the track has not been determined yet). But they will fly me down to the testing and I will probably take plenty of photos and video. Of course the bad news would be that it pushes back the delivery date to Dallas by another week or so while they do the testing. I'll update everyone as I get more news.

Yeah that was on my list of things to take. Depending on how it goes, Grassroots works pretty closely with the Speed Channel, so that might happen as well. I will keep the group informed.

 

As for the HOAX part....I have Completed pictures of the beast driving around so THERE! It does exist and when I get home from work I'll post them for all to see.
