The Shell sustained damage to both rear fenders and is being repaired as we speak. It sucks becuase it wasn't just denting them it actually chipped the paint so the fenders are having to be resprayed which takes more time. I don't have to foot the bill for it though. The importer I used is an honest guy who takes pride in what he does and is having the repairs made for me as a point of pride on his products. The reconstruction was held up for the repairs, but the shell is looking like a car. I will have TONS mroe pics this weekend (I am flying down there tomorrow) to talk to them about some stuff and settle all outstanding bills. With all the luck in the world the car is going to be in a drivable manner so I can drive it and see if anything is wrong before I take delivery of it. The whole car, every part, every hose, every inch is being degreased and detailed before I get it (as this is the best time to do it with most of it apart) so all of the dirt and grease in the pictures will be gone when it arrives. The titling process got a break and they are still allowed to use the Japanese VIN instead of having a re-stamped VIN, so they cut the title wait time my 5+ days. Enjoy and I will have more up shortly.

DOT has already investigated them before. Other importers have "ratted them out to the Fed" DOT can't shut them down. The reason is because of a number of important documents obtained from Japan. In the interest of protecting their business I cannot disclose the papers or who they use in Japan.
