Well, I will defiantely not be at this one guys. I will be inFlordia picking up my new toy and driving it home. It is back in the States and will have all of my goodies installed this week and I iwll fly down on the 12th and drive her back. I hope it's a great meet. EVERYONE BETTER SHOW UP OR I'LL HUNT THEM DOWN!!!!

So far it sounds like I'm going to be by myself..

This will be the last Thursday night meeting.

Starting in February our meets will be on the second Friday of each month. I have had several members ask to change to Friday because of work or school. I'm hoping we can get more members to join us on Friday. This will also allow us to go to a second site to party after our dinner and meet.

I will be sending an email to all members in the next few days. The location will remain the same.

 

I like the Second Friday idea.....That could either bring more people in or less if they already have Friday plans. It's definately worth a shot to get some new faces to come hang out with us. We should also Make a tone of Flyers and HUGE sticky's on the board to remind forgetful people like myself.

 

Well Now it's Tuesday and they have changed my work schedule. Even I can't go!!!!

Sorry Guys, If anyone makes it there please hold down the fort for me. I will see you guys next month.

 

I for one will be there! Well I'll sit in the parking lot at least to see if anyone else shows. I only live about a mile away so it's no big deal.

What would everyone say to pushing the meet back a week? This way hyperlitesmu can drive his new toy and maybe some others can make it.

Either way I will be there!

 

I would say to call off the meet for this ,eet if we can;t get anymore responses. maybe we should move it to another day/time/location.....I might be in Florida again next weekend to meet another forum member about maybe getting a skyline from the same guys I got mine from. We'll see. I still have to confirm my plans. It is really kind of ridiculous that over 50 people made the DFW G35 club roll call and the same 7 to 10 people make the meets every month. We really need to try, as a group, to get a solid meet or 2 under our belts.

I hate to yse the GTR as bait, but......If it will help the cause then I will dangle it out there.....No matter when or where the next meet is (as long as it's 2 weeks out) the GTR will make it out. If that will increase attendance, then so be it.

I am so ready to just friggin take over a parking lot with othe G owners. I want to see 20+ G's lined up, a great group of people standing around them and everyone laughing and having a good time.

So let's come together as a group and start making something happen!!!

 

The day will be changed starting next month. All monthly meets will be on the 2nd Friday of the month. Our next meet will be Friday 2/10/06 same place. We can all meet and have dinner here at Pasados then move on to a new spot after that if we feel like taking a group drive.

 

I will still be there tomorrow. I've only met everyone once since I haven't been in Texas all that long so I'd like to get to know everyone better.

I will hang out in the parking lot out back waiting for some others to show up.

Does anyone have an email group setup to send out a mass email to the entire DFW Owners Club? There could very well be a lot of DFW members that don't visit the forums that often...

 

Interesting Idea.....I think I would support such an e-mail.
