I think that they were going to order the projectors, but I don't know if they are in stock. We will find out tomorrow. I don't think that they consider a new G35 as parts.

Is this 20% off the internet price or 20% off the regular price which is substantially higher than the internet price. If this discount is off the regular price, then this discount is almost a wash with the internet price.

Grubbs is not doing us a favor!!!! I called and confirmed that indeed it is 20% off the REGULAR PRICE, which is higher than the internet price.

For example, the stillen cat back is $1263 with the 20% discount, but I could just go buy it on the internet. In all, you are only saving on shipping mostly.

Why don't they just discount 10% off the internet price?

Until this happens, I'm not buying anything.

I went to the parts counter and they said the 20% discount only applied to performance parts sold outside. Thus, I went outside and they had the aluminum pedal kit I wanted and said it was $69.99 less 20%. That should have made it $55.99. When I went inside to buy it, they said they couldn't go below the internet price of $63.99. I bought it for that but feel like the 20% off special was very misleading. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with their free hamburger and coke for the difference. It was however, nice to meet Robert and Randy from the DFW G35. I wish one of you guys would let Grubbs know that their 20% offer didn't really mean anyhing, though.

I went inside to try and buy a set of floor mats. They told me that the 20% doesn't applied to the mats??? WTF??? Talk about misleading!

Talk about misleading!!!!!!!!!!
I brought the touch up paint for $11.20 minus the 20% discount. Total cost was $9.74. I just found out that they were selling it on the internet for $5.99. Also, I brought the cabin air filter for $57.75 minus the 20% discount for a total price of $50.01. The internet was selling a DIY kit that includes the cabin filter, air filter, 4 oil filter and 4 washers for $54.99.
I'm pissed! HOW CAN THE 20% DISCOUNT SAVE US MONEY?

Sorry for the confusion guys. I will talk to G3 and the new parts manager Jim and find out what happened.
As some of you may know Mark who was the parts manager for the last show has recently been replaced by the new parts manager Jim. Jim has been there for about 2 weeks and is still trying to get to know his way around the shop. I will try yo find out just what happened and see why there were discrepancies in the pricing.
In any event I hope you had a good time and got to leave with some free goodies. If you have been to any other car shows put on in the Metroplex by other dealers you should know just how much Grubbs puts out for us. Most other dealers really don't even try...

Robert,

Actually this so called discount is not anything new. It was like this for the last show as well. It's only 20% off the regular (retail price) which is substantially higher than the internet price.
