I just found out that I have an older version of the DVD Navigation. I called the DVD Rep, and they want $180+ for a newer version. This is kinda high for a part that doesn't make the car any faster.

Does anyone have an extra copy or any suggestions?

Unfortunately if you want to play you must pay. I am assuming that you went through Zenrin for the updates.

The DVD's are copy protected so you cannot duplicate them for friends. What vs. of the software are you running? I have updated twice and for the local area there has not been a big change in any of the maps that I have noticed. I will only update now every 2 years.

 

I have an '03 which I'm assuming is definitely the old version. It's been very useful and helpful and I really don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon.
