The Quest for 400 rwhp

I have all the components in place to make a run at 400 rwhp. My set up is currently making 360 rwhp at only 6.2 psi of boost! We are going to hit 400 rwhp at the lowest possible boost setting we have to. I am having an Aquamist boost senisitive water injection unit installed, 660cc injectors installed and then we add boost until we hit 400 rwhp......Depending on how well the car is handling it and what the A/F numbers are looking like we may make an 8.5 psi run just to see what she can put down. But with the hp numbers we are seeing at the low 6.2 psi we have no doubt we will hit 400 rwhp with just over 7.5 psi and if the trend continues....8.5 psi looks like it could be in the 430 to 440 range. I'll keep everyone posted. Tentatively, the install and dyno of everything will be done Saturday September 24th at Velocity Motorsports by "Stoney." If anyone wants to see the G bust over 400 let me know and i'll post the time and other details.

You shouldn't have any problem getting 400 rwhp. I know Grubbs has installed several superchargers and turbo systems and tuned them to exceed the 400+ mark. Good luck with yours!

Good point. I am hoping to set a high and low boost setting on my E-01 to prolong hte life of my engine. But yeah several of those motors may not be doing so hot.

Update on the install and Dyno: Velocity apparently isn't open this weekend. If the Water injection unit arrives thursday, the Dyno and install will be on Friday. f this is not possible then the Dyno and install will be the Following Monday.

Bob, When is Velocity goign to have another Dyno night? I wouldn't mind showing up there and putting down 400+ while everyone is watching.....

Let us know...
