4080 box arrived...sooo sweet

My 4080 box arrived yesterday, and the thing is NICE. Fits perfect and looks really good. I probably won't be able to install my system for another week or two.

System will consist of:

- Undecided on LOC
- Phoenix Gold line driver
- Phoenix Gold Titanium 10d
- Focal Polykevlar components for front
- ESX Q175.2 sub amp
- Eclipse amp I'm buying from TedRuxpin
- 1 farad cap
- 4080 box

Probably going to stealth mount the amps in the spare tire well or something.

Still deciding on which LOC to use...also still debating if I want to attempt install myself. I got a quote for $200 to install everything, but I can do it myself....lazy tho.

Line Output Convertor - duh!

The stock head unit doesn't have RCA outs, which is the type of connection that the amps use. So I have to use an LOC to get the signal from the head unit to my amplifiers.

Not done yet...waiting on my installer to get some time. He saw'd up his finger at the shop and has been out of commission for a while. He says this coming weekend probably.

Ouch! If he cut up his fingers, should you trust him with your car?

My friend Kenny, who is a Car Toys manager, and his main installer Steve will be doing my work. They've both done some local Cowboy/Maverick stereo systems from their garage. Top notch work.

Will, I have a Dave Navone LOC for my 10w6 and 500/1 amp. I think its ok (I'm not audiophile), not sure what type of LOC will be good for you.

But yeah, 4080box rocks

Hopefully I'll see you around if I ever get to one of the meets.
