Impul [Replica] Rear On

Hey guys -

I know I told some of you during the last meet that I was in the process of putting the Impul replica bumper on. Well, it's on. The body shop removed the ugly "bump guards" (good it was FG!). The fitment itself is better than I expected. When we first test fitted it the driver's side was a little off (very little). I had the body shop modify it slightly as well as repair a crack that it had . Overall, i'm happy with the results.

I'll be putting on the Impul sides (those are originals ) sometime this week. I'm still on the lookout for a nice lip since I don't like any of the bumpers out there. I also have the Impul rear deck spoiler and I'm considering putting it on since I'm really not feeling the stock spoiler with this bumper. Sorry for the bad pics all I had handy was my camera phone. Maybe I'll take some better pics later.

so the rear extends out over the stock exhaust tips?...does the exhaust heat/fumes cause any problems?

I thought the same thing but it seems fine so far. I've looked at it after driving around (in the Texas heat) and there were no issues. I'll keep looking.

Also, since you dont have sideskirts on yet, does it hang down alot lower than the stock bumper?

Sorry no pics yet. Was out of town and haven't gotten around to it. Fitting, modifying, painting, and installing should run close to 400 or so. I got a good deal because of buddy of mine.

It really doesn't hang that much lower than stock. The side angle of the bumper seems to be more defined than the stock one though so if it's anything lower it wouldn't be more than 1/2".

Im just wondering whether the side skirts would lineup well with my gialla front lip. As of right now, the gialla lip lines up with the bottom of the mudguard on the sideskirts. The impul sides might be too short
