Thanks for the response guys. The folks at HIN say they want only cars that have been modified since people come to this event from all over the country and space is limited.

Yeah, that's why I was asking about my 'daily driver'. It's a 280Z with an LS1 V8, T56 tranny with a Hurst shifter, 3.70:1 R200 LSD from an '87 300ZXT, Nissan European spec springs, KYB struts, urethane bushings, 16" wheels & tires, Willwood Superlites with 12.2" rotors up front and 240SX calipers with 300ZX rotors in the rear. It has a full leather interior, custom carpet and a full custom Alpine sound system, front and rear strut tower braces and a 4-pt. roll bar. It has the Motorport Auto Aero II ground effects kit, Sentra Mirror conversion and is painted a Cadillac Pearl red with a white racing stripe. I do think it has enough 'modifications' but the problem is that it's a 'daily driver' and the paint is 7 1/2 years old so it's not perfect.

Robert - check out some of the rides at Don Davis tomorrow. Maybe you can convince a couple to fill out the group.

I will do that. I hope I have my car. I have a dead optima battery and they cannot find a replacement to fit. I may be there in a loan car but I will be there. I will also have discount coupons for HIN and enrollment forms fro those who want to join the DFWCC. DFW Car Club

Oh I will have a new toy with me called "Mini G"

Ok Robert - no excuses - borrow the battery from the loaner car and bring yours! I'll be at the registration table with the 'DATSUN' t-shirt.

Hey guys... let us know if you need any models. Team Transport is building its network not only with the girls, but with the promoters too.

Cheers, Ted
