Hey guys, I will go with you guys if I get all the stuff done this week. I'm taking the front lip after work (accident with something in the freeway). Also will be visitng Hawk (monitor & dvd player), and the graphics place this week. I have a question if you have to disconnect the battery, you don't power up any of your stuff in car? Also when will you guys be leaving from ? to go to Dallas. Thanks. If you guys know any other graphics places let me know. I called Express Signs Plus they are at least a week out.

Well, the car roll-in is about 5-8pm or so on Fri. night and you leave your car there. Then you can usually get in bout noon on Sat. to finish up your car and be ready for 5 o' clock. I'm really having a hard time taking mine on stock wheels especially with road rash but I'm always up for supporting the whole team.

I have a question for eggman. I called another place called Signs Now. They wanted to know how can you put the names of the companies such as Alpine, Greddy etc etc on our cars without written permission from them. He said he doesn't mind doing it but does not want to get in trouble. Any info would help.

It's done all the time. How many tuners have you seen with 'Alpine', Blauplunkt', etc. in bold letters across the top of their windshields. Getting their permission would be a courtesy but there is enough precedence that it shouldn't be a problem without it.

That's kinda what I told him. It's done all the time. I just need a answer for him so he feel's better about it, I guess.

Well from what I've seen/understand....because you're pretty much giving them free publicity/marketing for their products, they don't mind a bit. Who has ever heard of a Alpine, Tein, or anyone else for that matter, taking someone to court for showing off their brands. I think that as long as you don't use the exact font/style of that brand you should be OK.

Ok, here is the deal from GReddy in Irvine. I talked to a guy name John, I think. He said as long as it is for private use they will not say anything. He also said that if you are trying to profit from it then it's ok. He also said that they have the right to tell (make) you take it off because it is a trademarked word.I also called Veilside and they said the same thing.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, I've been at work. This is true many companies include decals for you to display on your car, but they do have the right to have you remove them although this is just about unheard of. I don't know any other graphic sign company but many have these logos on file which can be printed in many colors. I will be getting to the event at 5pm or earlier on Friday. We will have to meet there, they will guide to to our group once you arrive. Use DFW G35 Club.

JD you have to go. If Mellisa doesn't make it who will get us the models. Lady J was at Import Expo and she said she will pose for us again. Remember...

Well I'm hoping Melissa goes as well.....OMG....the damage we both could do...there would be no girls left in the whole building...

Has Jeremy or anyone else committed to going? Also, are we being placed close to the DFWCC? Also, got the 3 girls from DFWCC (prior posting) to come to our spot to take pics as well. Cross your fingers...but I'm working on a couple of others...that if I can make it happen; then we will truly be hated on...but I dont wanna say cause I'll jinx it. I'm also dreading that I'll sign up and won't get the car back in time so hopefully I'll drop it off tomorrow and have it by Thurs.
