Hitch Install in DFW - Any Suggestions?

Hi,

I'm a new member and I've found the forums to be full of useful information. I bought a 2003 Sedan AT (Garnet Fire / Tan interior) over the Memorial Day weekend. I've already dropped a K&N filter into the car based on info from this site!

I love mountain biking as much as much as driving my new G. I need to install a class 1 hitch on the car to use with a bike rack...I know some of you will consider this heresy!

The hitch I will probably buy is this one:
http://www.hitchesonline.com/infinit...g35X_03-05.htm

I want the install done right, and the work is a bit more than I want to do to the car on my own.

I need some recommendations on a quality installer in the Dallas area...any suggestions?? Thanks!

I don't personally know where to get one installed, but I'm sure the dealership would have a reputable recommendation on where to take it. Where did you get your car from?

Oh and welcome to the club!

Thanks Moog that's a good suggestion. I got the car from Crest Infiniti (Parker and 75). I bought the K&N filter from Grubbs and saw all the signs for this site there.

Yeah I'm sure Crest, Grubbs, or Sewell can point you in the right direction. Make sure to sign up under our "DFW roll call" post at the top of the forum.

Not sure if this is the same hitch, but I think its better suited for what you need.

You can install it yourself as well.

Thanks...the hitch referenced in that post is the one I ordered. Joe's Hitch & Trailer in Plano will install it for $65 so I'll probably just let them do the work.
