Hydroplaned

So yeah...i got owned tonight on 635...hydroplaned & spun around a few times...rear bumper/fender slammed into the retaining wall. Car is still driveable though...tomorrow I will get it looked at by insurance.

I'm thinking widebody now...

No tires had plenty of tread, it was just raining really hard today.

same happened to me.. My tires were bald though.. i was very close to hitting the center divider.. and nobody was on the freeway. Spinning around going 65 mph isn't the greatest feeling in the world. Especially going 112 mph lol i'll post up pics one day.. (2nd accident.. r.i.p. bug eyed scuby ) Glad you're ok too yo.

Oh Man!!!! I almost had to post a thread like this last night. I almost lost it on 635 as well!!! I was passing under the tollway heading west on 635 back to Las Colinas. I was changing lanes to the left lane at like 50mph, traffic was nice and slow. All of a sudden as I nudge the steering wheel left the front end of my G35 just swerved to the left like a b*tch!!!! I thought the car was about to be a goner! Lucky enough the front end caught traction enough to where I straightened out.

Hope to see new pics of the fresh bumper and paint Moog! Crappy *** rain!

I have to say this has happened to me once before. The rear would just jerk to one side. Not really a slow loss of tracking like a drift but a sudden jerk that is unexpected. I think it may be a thing with the base models G's that did not come with the VLSD (too much torque goes to one wheel).
