Clips breaking when removing grille?
Sorry if this is the wrong area to post this in, still pretty new here lol.
Anyway, I am planning on plasti dipping my front grille soon and I was thinking of removing the grille to avoid any overspray on the radiator and to make the process of applying the plasti dip easier. I have looked at some instructions for removing the grille and saw that there were clips you need to un-do to get the grille out. I was wondering if anyone had those break when trying to remove the grille, because I would hate to break them and not be able to use the grille anymore. My car is an 09 coupe, and I'm a little worried about the age of those clips and becoming brittle over time. Thanks for any input you may have!

The grille uses 4 10mm nuts that will hold it together even if all of your clips break. As for the clips a plastic wedge tool or flat head driver will work.
Start in one corner and push on the clips while the other hand pulls out on the grill and it will show it's way out.
Good luck.
