Radio unit
Radio unit
Hello Everyone!
Can someone give me an idea where to find a OEM radio unit, besides the dealership because they’re whyyyy to expensive.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Where to buy, your past experience and/or how to change it.
TIA,

TIA,
As mentioned in your other post, there are tons on eBay.
First, why do you need to replace the headunit? Keep in mind that most issues with iPods and iPhones are usually Apple's doing and not the car. Everytime Apple updates their iGarbage there is usually a problem. That said:
Replacing the headunit is a simple plug-and-play task. It is important that you find the part number for your existing headunit. For this you will have to disassemble the center stack and look for the sticker. You might have to remove the headunit to locate the sticker. Look for 25915-xxxxx. Those last 5 digits are important.

From there just search on eBay. There is also LKQOnline. If you have a junkyard or local pick-n-pull yard, that is also a option. From my experience, eBay works for me. I paid less than $250 for a complete 2014 system (headunit, screen, switches) when I upgraded my 2008 Coupe back in 2016.
