Radio Reception is really average - ideas?

I drive 260 k's a day to and from work so a lot of radio is listened to.

The radio reception for stations which don't have a very strong signal is crap - I was driving a Toyota Yaris to and from for a couple of months and got great reception so I know it's the G37's reception which is the problem.

My first guess is I will have to get a booster or something - we don't have satellite radio in Dubai. I did notice that the photo's on the home page the car looks like it has a small fin antennae on the rear top of the car?

Am totally stock and not a fan of modding anything (yet!) so don't really want to start getting stuff installed.

Oh - and had my 5000k service and FM1 (you know how there's FM1 and FM2?) is gone - I only have FM1, AM and CD now?

The "fin" you speak of is the antenna for satellite radio.

No one uses the radio when you have so many other alternatives.

Do you have tint? Metallic?

My FM reception is perfect, even in tunnels

I was just going to say tint. They told me not to go metallic for radio reception reasons, that's why I went with Carbon I think they referred to it as. But I was under the impression it only messes with AM reception, but it might cause a similar situation for FM.
