So I made the rookie mistake of buying a short ram intake and I was wondering(might sound dumb)if I extended them so that they are as far out as the stock intakes if they would work better being extended. Feeling the air 2 inches away you can really feel the difference in temperature surprisingly. Again this might sound dumb but will this even improve anything.

 

Not going to make a noticeable difference. Save up and buy some good 3" intakes (AdminTuning, RZG Motorsports, Rabbit Hole Motorsports, Limp Mode Tuning) then tune.
