That actually looks like a regular 9500ix cable that has been routed into the dash. Robert K on the forum here has the 9500ci.

Wow thats freaking awesome! I have a hardwire kit for my Escort Redline and have been banging my head over where to install this thing. Why didn't I think of here! lol

Do you have any info on how to get to that panel?

Thanks!

Nice and clean, but I think a black area of trim would be stealthier. Still looks good though.

Basically, I took off the side panel of the dash and dropped the panel under the steering wheel (no need to remove completely). The silver trim popped off rather easy. I disassembled the hardwire kit (only 1 screw) and used a step bit to drill holes for each led. Then hot glue to attach to back of panel. Finally the actual dash behind the silver trim had to be cut out so the circuit board would fit. I can take some pics if people are interested.

Actually it works perfect. It lights up the a-pillar and headliner slightly, enough for me to see but outside the car you can't.

Something to do with that space.

I was thinking maybe a door or something for a hidden storage space
