Hey, I am actually taking off the rotors and probably going to paint some parts of them, have you thought of doing that as well?

I thought about that too. Maybe down the road.

Ohh damn, thanks for the DIY. I know it's been made before but yours seem easier.

BTW, how many cans did you order? How many do you think one would need to paint all 4 calipers?

Great DIY steps! I'll be following this in the spring since my garage is not heated and it s too cold to paint. What size spray cans did you go with and are you using clearcoat from the same brand?
Thanks

Thanks guys .. Gotta say thanks to Breftaker aka Chris for getting the stickers made for me. Btw, I did this outside in the street on a cloudy, damp humid day lol.

As for the question about paint.. I thought 1 12oz can would be alright to do all four but I guess not. *I ran out just doing the front two calipers so I just ordered 1 more 12oz can. *Should be here in a few days so I can finish the rear brakes.*

So to answer the question you will need 2 12oz paint cans and 1 12oz clear can. Yea I would suggest using their brand clear coat because their paint can seem to spray better than any other rattle cans I've ever used before (no spitting from the nozzle). *I'm must say I was very impressed with the results and it was definitely worth the investment. I should be able to know out the rear calipers in a little over an hour now that I know what I'm doing.*

The sticker is a little off center, but other than that, it turned out great.

Dude, props for the creativity on the plastic bag, rotor maskers!! That is a great, inexpensive idea for covering those up! I think that website you found is a great alternative to alot of the guys who end up using plati-dip. Good work!

^ Thanks! Just figured I'd report that it's pouting here today. But my calipers look great. Lol. I can't wait to finish the rears. Maybe on Thanksgiving morning.

Update.
