Be careful what you do and post on here. If you go and make your own intake and show anybody. If it is not what everybody else is doing you will get flamed for being an individual.

I'm thinking about doing something like this...

There are those two dummy openings on the side of my sport sedan's stock bumper. I haven't taken a look yet, but I was thinking that if I cut those open, put a funnel on there to maintain the venturi effect, and routed smoothbore pipes up to the stock airboxs, I could effectively make two ram scoops.

I have no idea what is between my stock airboxes and those openings but I like to get my hands dirty and I don't like how small the stock airbox's opening is.

I understand what you are saying. But if you go back though other threads of stuff that people have done on there own, most of the hyenas on here call them an idiot for trying something new. I for one like to customize, to my own happiness, not what everyone else is doing. All that I am saying is give it a try and see if you like it. If you post your process/results on here just don't hope, expect or think that anybody is going to agree with what you are doing.

One side note though, bolt-ons really won't do anything without a tune. With our cars that is very important.

I don't think this is entirely true. If it doesn't look right then of course, but some of the work you have done is highly commended. I personally think the LEDs you intalled in your old bumper looked verrry good as well as the push to start buttons.

^That looks like ***, but I'm sure it performs well. A little paint wouldn't hurt. :P
